Burgas Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts

Burgas Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts is a non-profit legal entity, established under the Skilled Crafts Act in 2002 and registered under the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act at Burgas District Court in March 2012.

One of the main tasks of the Chamber according to the Skilled Crafts Act is to cooperate with the state and the municipal administration in their efforts to encourage the development of crafts and ensure the quality of the skilled craft services provided, as well as at the drafting of ordinances, programmes and projects related to crafts. The Main activities of the Chamber are as follows:

1. supporting its members in the organization and implementation of craft training and improvement of qualification; 
2. maintaining a register of apprentices, journeymen, masters and craft enterprises;
3. issuing certificates of origin for craft products;
4. organizing journeyman and master examinations

Burgas Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts works closely with the regional craft branch associations, whose main task is to protect the professional interests of craftsmen. Through these associations Burgas Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts promotes the mutual support between its members and performs cultural and educational activities in the respective branch.
In Burgas District there are the following branch associations:

1. Regional Union of Bakers and Confectioners
2. Branch Association of Artistic Crafts
3. Association of Hairdressers
4. Branch Association of Cosmetologists
5. Association of Auto Repairs
6. Association of Photographers
7. Association of Restorers

Burgas Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts is a partner of Bulgarian and foreign organizations and institutions in projects supporting and promoting crafts.
Membership in other organizations:

1. Burgas Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts is a member of the Balkan Middle Class Office (BMCO)
2. Burgas Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts is a member of the National Chamber of Skilled Crafts
3. The National Chamber of Skilled Crafts is a member of the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (UEAPME)

    Burgas Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts develops its activities in the     territory of Burgas District and has its own structures in all major towns     in the area.
